Ward Johnson, Co-Owner and CEO, purchased Sojos in 1996. With Sojos, he combined his love of pets with his desire to own his own business. Ward and his wife transformed a few recipes and a short client list into a multi-million dollar leader in the healthy dog and cat food sector of the pet food industry.

Neil Weinstein has nearly 15 years of mergers and acquisitions transaction experience across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, business services and consumer products. Mr. Weinstein has completed dozens of transactions totaling nearly $5 billion in aggregate transaction value. Before joining Craig-Hallum, Mr. Weinstein was a Director in investment banking at Lazard Middle Market, and prior to that he was a Vice President at Piper Jaffray, where he worked on numerous sell-side assignments for both public and private companies, leveraged buyouts, corporate divestitures, private placements, fairness opinions and restructuring assignments. Previously, Mr. Weinstein was a senior financial analyst at Northwest Airlines, and he also has extensive legislative and communications strategy experience.

Jeff Milkie leads the firm’s investment banking practice with over 14 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience. Jeff has advised on numerous public and private debt and equity investments and M&A assignments totaling over $4.9 billion, and his diverse experience includes providing advice, financial analysis, and other services to private market investors, multi-billion-dollar global corporations, and middle-market companies across multiple sectors.
