Willie Hendrickson
AVEKA
Willie Hendrickson is the founder and CEO of the AVEKA group, a spin-off of 3M. Prior to starting AVEKA in 1994, he worked for 16 years at 3M as a researcher and technical manager. He holds a BS in chemistry and math from St. Olaf College and a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Florida. In addition to his duties at AVEKA, he serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota. Mr. Hendrickson is the author of 20 articles or book chapters and is the co-inventor on 55 issued or applied for US patents.
Marie Jorissen

Marie Jorissen is the president of the AVEKA group. Named one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the Twin Cities in both 2011 and 2012, AVEKA currently employs over 250 people in contract R&D and the manufacturing of particle based products. Ms. Jorrissen has worked for AVEKA for over 16 years and leads the strategic planning and management of the organization. She holds a BS in chemistry from Texas A&M University and an MBA from St. Thomas University..
