Join us on Wednesday, September 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Florida Tech CAMID Facility. We will be hosting an event featuring Waymon Armstrong, who will be joined by a panel of experts. The panel has extensive knowledge and experience in the Simulation & Space sectors. Waymon will share a brief history of Engineering & Computer Simulations Inc. (ECS), and how he scaled his business in the modeling & simulation industry. Food and beverages will be made available at the event.

Waymon Armstrong
Waymon is co‐founder and chief operating officer of Engineering & Computer Simulations Inc. (ECS) – an Orlando‐based firm that defines innovation in the leading‐edge field of modeling, simulation, and training. Armstrong’s company specializes in advanced training solutions that improve the performance of military personnel, first responders, and corporate employees. ECS developed the first online virtual hospital for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and is designing an online simulation learning center to train VA doctors and staff across the globe.
JaNay Mills is a seasoned contracting and acquisitions expert, decorated Army veteran, and dynamic leader. A Certified Federal Contract Manager™, Ms. Mills works as the Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC) Director for the National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) Other Transaction Authority (OTA) where she oversees the Space Forces 10-year, $12B other transaction agreements for research and development prototypes. Sought after for her expertise on terms and conditions, cybersecurity, data rights, and intellectual property.
Sophia Evans is a Senior Human Resource Specialist with Insperity. She has more than 20 years of experience in the Human Resource field from a corporate, government and consultative background. She has worked in a variety of industries including government contracting, higher education and nonprofit. Sophia received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from Washington Adventist University.
Brian is a member of Maynard Nexsen’s Government Solutions Group, a dedicated inter-disciplinary team of legal professionals providing client support and representation before multiple levels of government and at every stage of the procurement process. A native Floridian, Brian has spent 20 years advising clients through all types of business matters and complex transactions. Brian’s clientele span a broad range of industries, with a concentration in government policy, technology, manufacturing, and commercial space and launch markets.
