“Tales of Euphoria: From a Basement to $100M”
Marty Rubin is the CEO and founder of Smart City, a $100 million telecommunications company serving the convention center, trade show and hospitality industries.

Marty currently serves as chairman of the Central Florida Foundation and is the immediate past chair of the Children’s Home Society of Florida, the nation’s eleventh largest private provider of child welfare services. In that role, he also serves on the advisory board of Evans High School. He is also a member of the executive committee of Junior Achievement of Central Florida, a founding board member of the Junior Achievement Foundation of Florida, chairman of TelecomPAC and a board member of USTelecom. Marty recently completed his tenure as chairman of Orlando, Inc. (Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce) and board positions on Visit Orlando and Air Team Orlando.

Marty is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was recognized by Ernst & Young as one of its 2005 Entrepreneurs of the Year recipients. He is also a graduate of Leadership Florida.
