Dan Mishek is the managing director and co-‐owner of VistaTek, a family-‐owned manufacturing company founded in 1996. After graduating from Mount Mercy College with a double major in marketing and public relations, Dan joined the company in 1998. VistaTek has evolved from one machine and no customers to become a custom manufacturer specializing in moldmaking and injection molding. The company also offers secondary including printing, light assembly, and sonic welding. Dan is the president of the Society of Plastics Engineers and enjoys speaking at national conventions about additive manufacturing, moldmaking, and injection molding, as well as trends in manufacturing and technology. His articles on these topics have been published in national trade journals.
