Jim Wolford took a somewhat unusual path to his position as owner and CEO of Atomic Data. With a degree in history from St John’s University, Wolford began his professional career in sales and risk management. While working at Visii as chief strategist and director of sales, he discovered a passion for information technology and began his own business in 2001 by hiring a talented team to provide IT services in the Twin Cities. Wolford’s goal to help business owners take total control of their IT infrastructure has brought Atomic Data to the number one position in Minnesota for business class managed services. Today Atomic Data provides data centers in 42 states and over 15 countries.
