Kjell Bergh, chairman and CEO, Borton Volvo and Borton Overseas, began Borton Volvo in 1967 and purchased it three years later. The enterprise grew to include four auto dealerships in Minnesota and Florida. Borton Overseas is a tour operator which encompasses a limousine service and lodges in Tanzania.

Bergh has served on the boards of Gillette Children’s Hospital, the American International Automobile Dealers Association, the World Press Institute, and the Nobel Peace Prize Forum. He is a trustee emeritus and member of the executive and audit committees at Macalester College. He also serves as regent emeritus at Augsburg College. He is the recipient of many international awards and honors.
