Rich Nazarian
Minnetronix
Rich Nazarian, CEO and chairman of the board of Minnetronix, co-founded the medical technology company in 1996 with three employees and one project. While providing both business and technical leadership to the company, he served as company president until April of 2017. He is the principal inventor on 15 patents and is the chief author of numerous papers on medical device development. Rich has led his company in the development of new and innovative medical devices such as implantable artificial heart electronic systems, cardiopulmonary bypass systems, laser imaging systems and ventricular assist devices and nerve growth stimulators.
Holding both BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Rich is also a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. He was also named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.
